Songbook Ink

Songbook Ink creates merchandise that combines mid-century inspired artwork and styles with our exclusively recorded songs from the American Songbook and well-know jazz standards. The artwork goes on a variety of items (we can show you what we've done to date so you can get an idea of it) and we're searching for 1-2 artists who can help bring our music and brand to life through compelling artwork.

Projects Overview

The two immediate projects are:

Bossa Nova Illustrations

Four illustrations that match the vibe of 1950s-1960s bossa nova music. We've collected some ideas for inspiration (tho we aren't wedded to any of them) and they're based on old Brazilian jazz album covers.

NYC Series Illustrations

4-6 illustrations for NYC series we're creating for 2025. We're recording songs (Take the "A" Train, I'll Take Manhattan, Stompin' at the Savoy, etc) and need artwork to accompany the songs on a tote bag, tumbler, etc.
