Job Description
You will have a multifaceted role, combining applied research and development. You will be directly working with and reporting to our CSO and CPO. We are currently a small team, looking to quickly double in size, and you will be at the very core. Here is what you'll do:
- Applied research on computational design and environmental analysis methodologies
- Create optimized computational design workflows and scripts that can be run at scale
- Generate and curate comprehensive datasets that will be used to train our AI models
- Contribute to the development of infrared.city's integration in major CAD design systems
- Develop cutting-edge computational design workflows to support infrared.city's framework

Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience in computational design
- Expertise in sustainability simulations and workflows using tools such as Ladybug tools, Honeybee, Pollination, Radiance, OpenFoam, etc.
- Expertise in computational geometry using tools such as GH, Dynamo
- Great communication skills
- Python/C# software development experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in creating plug-ins in at least one AEC software or computational design tool such as Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, Archicad, and GH or Dynamo
- Understanding machine learning workflows, datasets, training, etc.
