Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Creative Designer to join our team at Pardon. In this role, you will be responsible for the visual design and production of various graphics including websites, org diagrams, print materials, apparel, and other quick turnaround mocks. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our brand's aesthetic value within the arts and culture space.

This is a part-time, hourly position, with an expected commitment of 20-30 hours per week. The role requires in-office work in Newport Beach for at least 2 days per week, with the option to work remotely on a 3rd day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop micro-sites and splash pages for new brands
  • Design systems and strategy graphics, representing business models and structures
  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for various media, including digital and print materials
  • Design and produce a range of visual assets, including engaging and visually appealing graphics for invites, marketing materials, social media content, and other promotional collateral
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Designer to ensure alignment with brand aesthetics and project requirements
  • Exhibit a keen sensitivity to merchandise and brand awareness, delivering designs that reflect sophistication and minimalism. Apply a well-trained eye for aesthetics to produce designs that meet high standards of visual appeal and quality
  • Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Leverage your experience with garments and print materials to create designs that are both functional and visually striking
  • Work with print materials, understanding the nuances of different materials and printing processes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in visual design with a strong portfolio showcasing clean, sophisticated, and minimal design work
  • Proficiency in Figma, Webflow, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Experience working with garments and a sensitivity to print materials and processes
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of aesthetic judgment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Previous experience in the arts and culture space is highly preferred
