Creative Product Designer

Job Description:

T Mak’s International, Inc., a woman- and minority-owned small business in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Creative Product Designer to join our collaborative and diverse team. This role blends graphic design expertise with product innovation to create visually striking and functional designs for leading global brands.

Responsibilities:

• Use Adobe Creative Suite daily, focusing on Photoshop and Illustrator, to develop digital and print-ready designs.
• Create mockups of products, from simple branded merchandise to custom concepts that don’t yet exist.
• Develop dielines and artwork templates; prepare artwork for print adhering to Pantone Matching System and client's brand standards.
• Design visually engaging retail displays, including layout and dimensional calculations, while considering packout and footprint constraints.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to meet project goals and exceed client expectations.
• Conduct research to ensure brand representation is accurate and impactful.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Experience in guiding prototyping processes, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with production teams to develop physical samples.
• Basic video production and editing for instructional purposes.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of graphic design experience (with a strong portfolio).
• 3+ years of 3D design experience preferred.
• Solid math skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• A proactive, independent work ethic combined with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
