Overview
As the Marketing Graphic Designer + Product Art/Image Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing creative assets across product imagery, marketing, and ad creative. This position requires strong design skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in a variety of design tools to support high-quality content across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
Ad Creative Development
- Design and creative assets for Meta platforms, using Canva for flexibility and consistency. Familiarity with Airtable for input management is preferred.
- Perform video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut to enhance visual storytelling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regularly reviewing competitor ads in the Facebook Ads Library for new ideas and standards.
Email Creative Design + Support
- Design and prepare graphics for emails, directly inputting them into Klaviyo. Canva experience is essential, while Klaviyo training will be provided.
- Develop templates for quick email graphic creation and content deployment.
- Monitor industry trends and review competitor emails (e.g., Milled.com) to ensure email creatives are engaging and current.
- Collaborate with Email/SMS role for A/B Testing of graphics
On-Site Graphics and Packaging
- Design on-site graphics, including desktop and mobile hero banners, to optimize the website's visual appeal.
- Create packaging assets (e.g., inserts, mailer bags) that align with brand standards and enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure all assets reflect brand identity and campaign objectives.
Event Collateral Design
- Design brand collateral for events, including signage, flyers, and tradeshow posters, aligning with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Collaborative Campaign Development
- Conceptualize Multi-Channel Campaigns: Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop cohesive creative concepts for campaigns that span digital, email, social media, and on-site platforms.
- Collaborate on Content Calendars: Work with the content team to ensure that visual assets align with content schedules and marketing objectives, ensuring timely execution across all channels.
Product Art Creation
- Develop or source original art for graphic collections (licensed and non-licensed) based on campaign and product needs.
- Finalize production-ready art and upload assets to print warehouse systems for distribution.
Product Image Management
- Perform image retouching, including simple edits (removing dirt or minor imperfections) and advanced retouching (such as garment color adjustments).
- Format images to meet web specifications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and optimal file naming.
- Prepare PSD files for production use, running scripts via Photoshop plugins as necessary.
Marketing Image Creation
- Produce marketing visuals for use across channels, optimizing assets for various formats and purposes.
- Create tailored images for specific needs, such as multi-person or multi-team visuals with art and brand elements accurately mocked.

- Graphic Design: Strong foundational design skills, including color theory, typography, layout, and composition.

- Branding and Visual Consistency: Ability to create visuals that adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
- Video Editing and Animation: Proficiency in video editing (using tools like Premiere Pro and CapCut), with a good eye for dynamic visuals and basic animation skills to create engaging content.
- Packaging Design: Experience in designing packaging materials (inserts, mailers, etc.) that align with brand identity and enhance the customer experience.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut). Familiarity with automation tools or plugins in Photoshop for efficient asset management.
- File Management and Optimization: Strong skills in organizing and formatting files for web and print, ensuring they meet technical specifications (resolution, file size, color profile) for different platforms.
- Digital Asset Management: Ability to use cloud storage tools (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive) and follow naming conventions for easy retrieval and team collaboration.
- Email Marketing Design: Familiarity with email marketing design and experience using Klaviyo (or a similar platform) to create and deploy email creatives effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet production schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on details, ensuring all assets are error-free, meet brand standards, and are properly formatted.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, understanding project briefs, and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Project Tracking and Reporting: Experience with project management tools like Airtable, Asana, or Trello to manage task progress, meet deadlines, and document design changes or updates.
- Trend Awareness and Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on design, marketing, and social media trends, quickly adapting styles or approaches based on industry changes.
- Creative Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills for finding creative solutions when faced with design or production challenges.
