Founding Product Designer Role at Hadrius

This is a full-time role as a Founding Product Designer, located onsite in New York, NY. Folks with ~1-2 year of experience looking to grow quickly in their careers are strongly encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

​

First week (Proposal to leapfrog our current UX in a core Hadrius module):

• Day 1: Go deep on a core Hadrius module
• Day 2: Lead your first customer call to learn about user challenges
• Day 3: Deliver your first lo-fi Figma mocks

​

First month (All P0 UX challenges addressed):

• Design and revamp Hadrius CUJs to blow prospects and customers away
• Standing out on the team in sheer contribution - give engineers a backlog of designs to implement
• Running user studies with current customers to understand their deeper pain points and fixing them
• Meeting nearly daily with CTO to align and collaborate on product vision and strategy

First 3 months & beyond:

• Continuing to develop the above skillset, paying special attention to engineers output and holding them accountable to a high bar (with support from technical leadership).
• Work closely with engineers to solve product and UX challenges every day
• Playing a major role in influencing the roadmap for our engineering team

About You

• Exceptionally skilled: You are highly competent as a designer, coming from 1,000s of hours of practice.
• Coachable: Open to learning the Hadrius way and raising the bar while you’re at it.
• Growth mindset: You’re consistently the hardest working person on your team because you’re driven to improve yourself and your work each day.
• All-in: This is not a 9-5. We have a massive opportunity ahead of us and are looking to multiply our engineering speed. We are optimizing for the best folks and are happy to compensate generously.

Qualifications

​

• 1+ years of professional experience in a design role
• Have worked with engineers to ship a functional product to customers
• Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems
• Fluent in Figma and other design tools
