Join Our Team as a Frontend Engineer

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Designer UX team to help build highly personalized web and visual design experiences utilizing Webflow Designer. In this role you will execute the technical direction and partner closely with other engineers on the team. Additionally, you will help cross-functional efforts to drive even greater impact internally and externally for our core product.

About the Role

  • Location: Remote-first (Ireland & United Kingdom)
  • Status: Full-time, Permanent
  • Compensation: Tailored to align with geographic markets

Compensation Breakdown

  • Ireland: EUR 72,200 - EUR 93,850
  • United Kingdom Zone A: £60,100 - £78,100
  • United Kingdom Zone B: £54,100 - £70,300

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Frontend Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Writing performant and accessible User Interfaces that power the Webflow visual design experience
  • Working on technologies such as React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Having expertise in at least one technical domain
  • Contributing to building and executing on functional strategy
  • Collaborating with product managers and designers in an autonomous, supportive team environment
  • Participating in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, and hackathon teams

About You

You’ll thrive as a Frontend Engineer if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience working as a FE/UI engineer
  • Are proficient in advanced React and CSS patterns
  • Have a strong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Treat web accessibility as a top priority
  • Have experience working with feature teams on customer-facing products
  • Value testing and documentation equally as much as your code
  • Enjoy high-visibility work and presenting to executive counterparts
