Position Summary:

This role is instrumental in developing efficient, transparent processes, and workflows that guide the creation of Kids Alive International (KAI) content across channels, including print, sales collateral, events, video, display media, landing pages, and digital touchpoints. This role will define and own the underlying systems for all brand design and copywriting projects through each step of the creative process: briefing, concepting, and stakeholder reviews through final delivery. This is a high-agency leader with a knack for air traffic control and an excellent communicator with asset organization skills who can balance infinite moving parts and many stakeholders in multiple countries. This role will manage the creative calendar, including projects across multiple business lines and initiatives. Management of all marketing and communication vendors and influencing the resourcing for the team will be a key focus to dynamically prioritize and intake requests from departments across KAI. They will closely collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to identify priorities and maintain consistent strategic direction for all marketing and communication.

Essential Duties

Project Management:

  • Setup, lead, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Help evolve processes that streamline creative requests, enabling KAI to move faster while ensuring quality and brand consistency.
  • Manage the intake and prioritization of all marketing & communication requests, ensuring alignment with KAI’s goals.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication and managing team expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Conduct project reviews and create recommendations for future improvements.
  • Management of creative/marketing calendar.

Creative Oversight

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to KAI leadership.
  • Execute and/or assist with copywriting and design.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet KAI’s high standards of quality.
  • Complete quality assurance reviews on all marketing materials to ensure brand alignment and overall accuracy of information.
  • Management of CRM (HubSpot) for email and social media campaigns, advertising, and reporting (includes data health, imports, and coordinating with the CRM data team).
  • Champion overall branding and messaging across all teams for KAI.

Creative Production

  • Serve as the primary manager overseeing the production of designs, copywriting, and/or videos as needed to support projects.
  • Serve as the liaison to support production of collateral.

Campaign Management

  • Develop and propose strategies for upcoming donor campaigns.
  • Identify overarching themes and areas of focus for each year’s marketing and communications.
  • Create campaign guides for the development team, field, and other roles as needed.
  • Implement on-going reporting for data capture to ensure campaign effectiveness.

International Team Coordination

  • Provide support for the management of monthly marketing and communications meetings with each of the KAI international field contacts as needed.
  • Coaching with branding, photography, and videography best practices.
  • Provide specific campaign-related requests to the field.
  • Management of “Alive Moments” (stories) submissions (aiding with copywriting, gathering further details when needed, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Safeguarding Officer to ensure all materials received from the field comply with the safeguarding policy.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Communication Vendor Relationships (agencies and printer).
  • Potential supervision of Sales Enablement Coordinator that will serve as the primary for the Development team to provide strategic ideas to support and elevate current and prospective donor engagement.
  • Potential supervision of Partnerships Coordinator that will work closely with CMO and CRO to develop partnerships programs with key organizational and influencer support for the KAI brand and campaigns.

Requirements

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years working in a creative project management and/or production capacity, preferably in-house or at an agency managing more than one brand.
  • 2+ years as a marketing leader with influence over strategy for an organization.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • High self-motivation and personal accountability.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy and can see beyond the day-to-day to strategically optimize processes.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills, excellent communication skills.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills (especially in conjunction with international engagements and relationships)
  • Ability to intuitively anticipate the team’s needs and plan for appropriate responses with a solution-oriented, proactive approach.
  • High emotional intelligence, cross-cultural communication skills, and interpersonal awareness.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a master at change management.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, including the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding donor profiles and personal information.
  • Alignment with the driving mission/vision/core values of Kids Alive International, the Bible, Christian theology, faith, and practice.

Role Specific

  • Proven experience managing full-service agency workstreams, including research, strategy, creative, marketing strategy, campaign execution, analytics and events.
  • Experience working with digital and print media workflows.
  • Comfortable working with various levels of stakeholders, from cross-functional partners to company leadership.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects at once with competing deadlines while proactively identifying new projects.
  • Proactive in developing efficient systems and identifying areas of process optimization.
  • Understanding of content management systems and digital asset management best practices.
  • Ability to succinctly communicate verbally and in writing to provide clear project direction.
  • Understanding of, and expertise in, creating project scopes and estimates.
  • Decisiveness and the ability to prioritize, triage, and make real-time decisions.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate potential changes.

Technical

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Tools, CMS Tools, & Project Management Tools
  • Desired: Experienced with Adobe Design Suite, HubSpot (CRM), Monday.com (Project Management), and Webflow (CMS)
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technology related to role
