Graphic Design - Intern

The Wedding Company Design Intern Position

The Wedding Company (Previously Betterhalf) is looking for a Design Intern who has strong creative skills and a portfolio that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Canva and Figma, and experience working with various design platforms, including digital and print forms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and present creative and unique design concepts that align with the client's vision, incorporating various themes, color schemes, and styles.
• Create detailed design proposals, including sketches, mood boards, and material samples, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Research and stay updated on the latest wedding decor trends, materials, and techniques to provide innovative and fresh ideas.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the design process, actively seeking feedback and making necessary adjustments to ensure their satisfaction.
• Conduct on-site visits and inspections to assess venues, identify potential design challenges, and develop solutions to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal.
• Play an important part in building decor catalogs.
• Curate various decor packages.

Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Proficient in Canva & Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in design field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• 6 months of internship with the potential for conversion to a full-time position based on performance.
• It’s a 6 day role in Bangalore (and not remote).
