Worlder TEAM is a startup founded by four doctorates and a project manager from Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top universities in engineering and technology in the United States. Our company is on a mission to create a groundbreaking platform that empowers small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to effortlessly expand their businesses globally, as outlined in our mission statement, "Create a platform that takes SMEs global effortlessly."

Roles and Responsibilities

​

• Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints.
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
• Design animations for web pages and mobile apps, through storyboarding or animation tools.
• Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic.
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Amend designs after feedback.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Create neat and editable documentation.
• Apply best practices throughout design projects.
• Report and communicate with internal and external stakeholders and manage their expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies.
• Share references with the product owner and product manager to get consensus on the design intentions properly before designing.

Mandatory Requirements

​

• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field.
• Strong technical background with 3 years of proven graphic designing experience.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
• Solid and in-depth knowledge in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
• Ability to create animation or storyboards for animations for web pages and mobile apps.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job.
