Graphic & Packaging Designer Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Graphic & Packaging Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and executing visually appealing and impactful graphics and packaging designs for new digital brands. You will work closely with our branding, marketing, and product teams to create compelling designs that align with our brand vision and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development: Collaborate with branding and marketing teams to develop design concepts for new brands, including logos, visual identities, and packaging designs. 

Packaging Design: Create innovative and functional packaging designs that enhance the product’s appeal, align with brand values, and meet industry standards. 

Graphic Design: Design marketing collateral, digital assets, and promotional materials such as social media posts, web banners, email templates, and advertisements to support brand launches. 

Brand Guidelines: Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design outputs. 

Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and design innovations to bring fresh ideas to our brand launches. 

Prototyping & Mockups: Create prototypes and mockups for packaging to present ideas to stakeholders and refine designs based on feedback. 

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and suppliers to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standards. 

Quality Assurance: Oversee the printing and production process of packaging to ensure designs are executed to the highest standard. 

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables align with the strategic goals of each brand.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging design for consumer products.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging and graphic design projects, with an emphasis on brand launches.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual composition.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and usability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present design concepts.
