Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Design to help scaling design consistently by leading our Central Teams: Design System, Design Ops and Motion Design.

​

• Oversee the design system, motion design and ops team, empowering the team to thrive in a dynamic, creative environment.
• Establish and uphold exceptional design standards, ensuring every product we build delivers a delightful user experience.
• Build a high-performing team by attracting and onboarding top talent, implementing efficient design management practices, and leveraging strategic frameworks.
• Foster seamless collaboration and project delivery within agile teams, guiding stakeholders through effective design rituals and reviews.
• Mentor and coach designers, supporting their career aspirations and pushing them to reach their full potential.
• Translate user needs and business goals into innovative solutions that drive strategic success.

📍This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Berlin, Helsinki or Stockholm.

Qualifications

• You've led design teams in companies known for innovative products, and seamless tech integrations.
• You excel at guiding and developing designers, helping them master research, design, ideation, and strategic thinking.
• You effortlessly connect with cross-functional stakeholders, motivating them to execute vision even in your absence.
• You've established and maintained operational processes that enable teams to scale efficiently.
• You´ve created design programs for large design teams.
• You´ve experience working with Design System.
• You thrive in complex systems, balancing global needs with your product's specific goals.
