Interior Architect

Job Description

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong understanding of spatial design, aesthetic sensibility and technical knowledge of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Development - Develop innovative and functional interior and architectural concepts aligned with the clients brief, project goals and brand identity
• Space Planning - Create efficient and aesthetically pleasing layouts, utilising effective space planning principles to maximize functionality and flow.
• Client Collaboration - Work closely with the clients to understand their vision, requirements and budgets, present design ideas and modifications based on feedback.
• Technical Drawings and Documentation - Prepare detailed drawings and specifications to guide contractors and vendors in implementing designs.
• Project Coordination - Collaborate with contractors, engineers and other consultants to ensure cohesive integration of architectural and interior design elements.
• Site Visitation and Inspection - Ensure construction progress aligns with the design specifications and resolve any on-site issues

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 5+ years of experience in interior architecture or interior design
• Proficiency in design softwares (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe creative suite etc)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
