Junior Artworker/ Designer
About the role
We're seeking a junior artworker/designer to join our growing creative family at Eighty Studio, a fun and dynamic marketing agency based in Shoreditch, London. Our team is a friendly mix of designers, photographers, and marketers who work together to deliver fresh and disruptive solutions to diverse clients.
We're looking for someone passionate, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and creativity are at the heart of what we do, and you'll design everything from marketing brochures to web graphics, email campaigns, and digital ads—primarily for our clients in the commercial property sector.
If you're confident in Adobe's creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), have a flair for After Effects and Premiere Pro (bonus points), and have a friendly, can-do attitude, we'd love to chat!
A bit about us
At Eighty Studio, we're proud of our supportive, non-corporate culture, where everyone has each other's backs. Whether brainstorming new ideas, grabbing a bite together, or belting out karaoke at team events, you'll find yourself part of a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys what we do.
Here, you'll have the chance to learn and grow constantly. We offer flexible hours, team events, opportunities to lead projects, and the freedom to express creativity. Plus, there's a friendly, excited dog who's always ready to be your best friend!
What you'll do
- Design engaging and high-quality materials for brand campaigns, multimedia projects, and events.
- Create compelling visual stories that showcase and enhance our clients' brands.
- Assist senior designers with creative briefs and contribute fresh, innovative ideas.
- Collaborate with external suppliers, such as printers and production houses, to maintain quality production.
- Adhere to and work within brand guidelines while finding innovative ways to combine colours, fonts, and layouts.
- Stay organised, forward-thinking, and calm under pressure while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
What we're looking for
- A passionate person, either just out of university or with 1-2 years of experience in graphic design.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- University degree in graphic design
- Experience in web or interface design (preferred but not essential).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail through thorough proofreading and rigorous quality checking to ensure accuracy, consistency, and excellence in all deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence to ask questions.
- A team player with the ability to work independently, collaboratively and under.
- An innovative thinker, always curious about how to improve processes and designs.
What we offer
- A hybrid working model.
- Fun company away days – UK and abroad!
- A supportive and non-corporate culture where your creativity can flourish.
- Pension scheme and other great perks.
We're looking for the person—not just a checklist. If you think you'd fit right in with our team, we'd love to hear from you! Even if you don't tick every box, you might be exactly what we're looking for.
