Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work demonstrating their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience working with numerous design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Design original creative pieces for marketing promotions and internal communication across multiple platforms - Social Media, Newsletters, Emailers, WhatsApp, blogs, print promotions, digital and print ads.
• Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
• Apply typography techniques.
• Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services.
• Increase user friendliness in digital products.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
• Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay up to date with industry developments and tools.
• Research and develop new creative ideas to better the brand’s creative capabilities.
• Work with the content creation team to edit photos, videos and other relevant content.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role
• Portfolio of completed design projects.
• Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Proficient in design software (e.g., InDesign and Balsamiq)
• Knowledge of video editing is a plus.
• Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts, and layouts.
• Attention to visual details.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
