Reporting into the Content and Design Manager, you’ll take on a wide range of exciting projects. From helping us to develop our visual identity so it can thrive in a digital world and working on national fundraising and awareness campaigns. To developing collateral for our digital channels and creating booklets, sub-brands, and tool kits. You’ll bring your creative flair to the role, pushing the boundaries with fresh ideas that align with our cause. With your keen attention to detail, deep understanding of the entire creative process, and high standards, you’ll ensure that The Charity’s brand is consistently represented across all materials, both internally and externally. Key accountabilities
- Lead the design and development of a wide range of marketing collateral, including posters, leaflets, website and email graphics, and social media assets for various Charity events and campaigns.
- Adapt and apply design concepts across multiple platforms, ensuring a cohesive visual identity.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from different teams to develop accurate briefs and present compelling design concepts.
- Take ownership of design projects from briefing through to final production, including concept creation, incorporating feedback, presenting ideas, testing, and preparing files for all platforms.
- Innovate by exploring new design ideas, techniques, and methods to elevate the quality and creativity of design outputs.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, meeting high creative standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Source, create and manage visual content, such as photography, illustrations, infographics, and custom graphics.
- Assist in managing The Charity’s photo library, ensuring high-quality photography is easily accessible and well-organised for use across the organisation.
- Support design team administration, including managing equipment like cameras, maintaining the project filing system, and keeping project updated in Trello.
- Develop the skills of The Charity by providing design basics and content creation training and supporting the Senior Digital Content Officer with photo training.
- Address and fulfil ad-hoc design requests as they arise, ensuring swift and effective delivery.
