Product Designer - Cars
Skyscanner Product Designer Position
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Product Design and Meta Core teams, focusing on Cars. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to design user-centric solutions for web and app platforms, helping travelers find and compare the right deals for their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of delivering impactful and crafted experiments, including Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products, that push the boundaries of our hotel's product area.
- Plan and facilitate Design sprints and workshops to uncover new opportunities and evolve the hotel's product area.
- Own end-to-end journeys space and make a significant impact in one of Skyscanner's most exciting areas/verticals.
- Enhance hotel UX and UI quality and craft by ensuring consistency across verticals, seamless interactions, and cohesive end-to-end user flows.
- Collaborate with design peers and leadership to refine and improve the design process, advocating for meaningful, intuitive, and accessible user experiences.
- Leverage effective communication, documentation, and facilitation skills to collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Content, and User Research teams.
- Conduct usability testing and collaborate with user researchers on research initiatives.
- Experience in A/B testing and ability to make sound commercial decisions that are also traveler-centric.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Product Design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Education in a design-related degree or relevant product design experience.
- Proven experience in Interaction Design, Visual and Motion design, and Research.
- Experience with Design Systems and design tools such as Figma, Miro, and prototyping software.
- Experience leading alignment sessions with stakeholders at every level.
- Experience working in collaborative and cross-functional teams.
- Track record of delivering projects that users love.
- Experience with Design Thinking processes and facilitating workshops.
