Job Title: Senior Product Designer
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the vision of the Unfold App, which is part of our suite of Squarespace products. You will be challenged in an organization that values vision, execution, and creativity. You will take ownership of the Unfold product by solving complex problems around the creation and management of social media content in simple, elegant ways with an understanding of our users' workflows. This includes creating, editing, styling, planning, and publishing social media content. You'll improve the current experience and work on new features to redefine the future of the product on mobile.
Location: Dublin, Ireland
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Improve upon existing design paradigms, while simultaneously pushing to evolve our design language and systems
- Continually seek to understand the capabilities and technical constraints of the systems with which you'll be working
- Help drive strategy, including competitive research and pushing to leverage potential opportunities
- Participate in user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistency
- Keep your finger on the pulse of social media industry trends
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Relevant experience with sketching, wireframes, visual design, design systems, and prototyping
- Demonstrate clear design development and application of service design and information architecture
- Passion for products you design and their impact
- Well-versed in visual and user experience design
- Understanding of information architecture
