Set Designer / Events Space Designer

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Space Designer with expertise in both architecture and interior design, and proficiency in relevant software applications. We are creating a new team with the aim to produce world-class designs for event spaces for luxury events and social celebrations with a clear focus on blending creativity with technology and digital content. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of space planning, construction principles, and the ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial design concepts and collaborate with clients to refine ideas based on their needs and budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze space availability to determine potential constraints and opportunities.
• Create detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Develop 3D models and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design intent and budget.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity throughout the construction process.
• Research and stay current on industry trends and innovations in space design and technology.
• Proficiently utilize relevant software programs, including CAD, BIM, 3D modeling software, and rendering software.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a space design or architectural role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in both architectural and interior design projects.
• Proficient in CAD, BIM, 3D modeling software, 3D Max, SketchUp, and rendering software.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
