Sr. Brand Designer
Your Day-to-Day:
Design Conceptualization:
Lead the conceptualization and creation of visual identity systems, including logos, typography, color palettes, iconography, and visual guidelines.
Brand Strategy & Development:
Work closely with strategy and copy teams to develop comprehensive brand identities that align with the client’s vision and market positioning.
Stylescapes & Mood Boards:
Develop multiple brand stylescapes and mood boards to visualize different directions and present to clients for feedback and iteration.
Brand Guidelines Creation:
Design and document detailed brand guidelines, covering logo usage, typography, color theory, voice, and tone to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Client Collaboration & Presentation:
Participate in client meetings to present brand concepts, gather feedback, and iterate designs to meet their business goals and resonate with their target audience.
Competitive Research & Market Analysis:
Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify trends and gaps that help inform brand positioning and visual identity direction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the web design and development teams to ensure the visual identity is seamlessly integrated into the website and all digital assets.
What Makes You Stand Out:
3+ years of experience in brand identity design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful brand systems across multiple mediums.
Expertise in creating cohesive brand guidelines, from logos to typography and everything in between.
Strong understanding of branding principles, market positioning, and how visual identity can drive business goals.
Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma).
Strong client presentation and communication skills, able to articulate design decisions clearly and effectively.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide creative leadership to junior designers.
Familiarity with web design principles and how branding translates to digital experiences.
