Vice President of Creative/Senior Creative Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Creative or Senior Creative Director to lead a dynamic team of creatives, ensuring the delivery of world-class branding, design, and multimedia solutions for US-based clients. This leader will oversee a Creative Director, a Graphic Design Lead/Project Manager, and a team of four designers, driving innovation across multiple disciplines, including graphic design, multimedia, and creative workflows.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and multimedia production. They should be adept at working with US brands or agencies servicing US clients and possess a proven track record in developing creative strategies, optimizing workflows, and managing both internal and client communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management:

  • Oversee and mentor a creative team, including a Creative Director, Graphic Design Lead/Project Manager, and four designers.
  • Build a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture that encourages professional growth.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance goals for each team member.

2. Creative Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and oversee the creation of comprehensive brand and style guides tailored to US markets.
  • Ensure all deliverables, from graphic design to multimedia outputs, align with client objectives and meet high-quality standards.
  • Provide hands-on expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and multimedia tools to support complex design and production tasks when needed.

3. Multimedia & Design Expertise:

  • Lead creative efforts beyond graphic design, including motion graphics, video editing, animation, and interactive media.
  • Ensure multimedia projects maintain brand integrity while innovating in style, format, and delivery.
  • Stay updated on design and multimedia trends to provide cutting-edge solutions for clients.

4. Workflow Optimization & Project Management:

  • Collaborate with the Graphic Design Lead/Project Manager to refine workflows for efficient and timely project completion.
  • Implement best practices in resource allocation and time management to meet client deadlines.
  • Monitor project pipelines and identify opportunities for streamlining processes.

5. Client Communication & Relationship Management:

  • Act as a senior point of contact for client communications, ensuring clarity, trust, and satisfaction.
  • Lead client presentations, articulating creative strategies and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Proactively address client feedback and resolve challenges to maintain strong partnerships.

6. Internal Communication & Collaboration:

  • Liaise with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on project goals.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins to share updates, gather feedback, and address any challenges.
  • Foster transparency, respect, and empathy across the team and organization.

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • Minimum 8+ years in creative leadership roles, with direct experience working for US brands or agencies servicing US clients.
  • Proven ability to manage creative teams and deliver high-quality branding and multimedia solutions.
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of multimedia production, including video editing, motion graphics, and animation tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong experience in developing brand and style guides tailored to US markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative multimedia solutions that drive client success.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and leading creative professionals to achieve exceptional results.
  • Experience in managing both graphic design and multimedia teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Ability to optimize workflows and manage resources effectively across multiple projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading client presentations and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Someone who can travel to the US for Training

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with US market trends in branding, design, and multimedia production.
  • Experience working with clients across industries like CPG, e-commerce, or technology.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform creative strategies.
