Who we are

EduFund is an early-stage platform that helps Indian parents plan for their child's higher education in advance. Our product allows families to invest for education, take education loans, and receive competitive scholarships! We were founded in 2020 by Eela Dubey (NYU 13’) and Arindam Sengupta (Princeton 12’).

EduFund team is filled with chai lovers, problem solvers, ridiculous jokes, and immeasurable passion towards our work. Our founding team has had the privilege of working at companies like Reliance, Goldman Sachs, CRISIL, GradRight, LeverageEdu, HDFC, and many others. We have raised over $5 million in funding from notable investors such as MassMutual Ventures, Kunal Shah, and DSP Investment Managers. We are headquartered in Ahmedabad, with teams in Mumbai and Pune.

Core Responsibilities

• Creative Development: Conceptualize and execute a wide range of graphic assets, including digital marketing ads, web pages, landing page graphics, emailers, and social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across marketing, product, communications, and branding to research, develop, and implement design ideas that enhance performance, brand identity, and content marketing efforts.
• Design Consistency: Build, maintain, and refine a comprehensive design style guide to ensure consistency across all visual communications.
• Team Development: Mentor and train existing team members, helping elevate the team's overall design capabilities.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools, and actively share new skills and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualities and Skills

• Portfolio Excellence: A compelling portfolio showcasing a range of creative work and design expertise.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, UI Designer, or in a similar role.
• Technical Proficiency: High level of expertise with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, InDesign, Premiere Pro, CorelDRAW, Figma, or similar.
• Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of contemporary design elements, typography, design techniques, and aesthetics.
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts, Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead a small team effectively.
• Communication Skills: Strong listening, comprehension, and engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
