UI/UX Designer Job Description

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting user-centred designs that are in harmony with our business goals, customer expectations, and overarching product strategy. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to ensure designs are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-oriented designs by integrating business requirements, customer insights, user journeys, feedback, and usability findings.
  • Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups (both low and high fidelity).
  • Collaborate with product teams to align designs with market demands and strategic objectives.
  • Work alongside engineering teams to guarantee that designs are technically feasible.
  • Conduct design reviews throughout the development process to ensure fidelity to the original specifications.
  • Address both immediate and long-term design needs of our products.

Additional Duties:

  • Work effectively with international and remote teams.
  • Proactively communicate issues and updates regarding design deliverables.
  • Defend design decisions and articulate your choices to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UX best practices and design trends.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (B2 level).
  • 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a software development environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Framer, Jira, Abstract, Invision, etc.
  • Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate business goals into digital experiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for delivering pixel-perfect design specifications.
  • Experience in collaborating closely with development teams, preferably in a Scrum/Agile setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to support development teams from project inception to completion.
