RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a talented and experienced 3D Artist to join our dynamic team in the gaming industry. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets that enhance the visual appeal and user experience of our games. You will work closely with the design and development teams to ensure that our game worlds are visually stunning, cohesive, and aligned with our creative vision.

• Modeling and Texturing: Create high-quality 3D models for characters, environments, props, and other game assets using industry-standard software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• UV Mapping: Efficiently unwrap models for optimal texture resolution and minimal distortion.
• Rigging and Animation: Rig and animate 3D characters and objects to bring them to life, ensuring smooth and realistic movement.
• Lighting and Rendering: Apply appropriate lighting and rendering techniques to achieve desired visual effects and moods in-game environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, and other artists to integrate assets seamlessly into the game engine (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Optimization: Ensure assets are optimized for performance while maintaining visual quality, balancing polygon count, texture resolution, and shader complexity.
• Artistic Contribution: Contribute to the overall art direction of the game by providing creative input and feedback during team reviews.
• Documentation: Maintain and organize a library of assets, shaders, textures, and other resources for efficient team use.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in 3D art, animation, and gaming technology.

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or related fields.
• 2+ years of professional experience in game development with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D art skills.
• Proficiency in Rigging, Character Modeling using tools like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max.
• Have knowledge of Lookdev
• Strong artistic abilities, including a good sense of form, color, texture, and composition, with an eye for detail and realism.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues related to 3D art and asset integration.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A genuine passion for gaming and creating high-quality game art that enhances the player experience.
• Experience creating 3D animations for games is a plus.
• Familiarity with game engines (Cocos, Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
