Seeking to Hire a Contractor for Senior-Level Product Design Services

Scope of Services

This contractor will own end-to-end design experience (UX and visual design) of one of the product areas used by teachers and students for an educational product. The responsibilities include:

• Understanding and articulating user and business problems
• Proposing a range of thoughtful and creative design solutions
• Executing designs based on a strong understanding of current UX/UI best practices
• Creating concept wireframes and prototypes for usability testing
• Developing high-fidelity designs and documentation for handoff
• Partnering closely with various teams to align on problems and define solutions

Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer
• Ability to distill complex requirements into simple and engaging experiences
• Strong understanding of web and mobile-web platform technologies
• Knowledge of user pain points and goals
• Experience working in Figma (Experience with Adobe CS is a plus)
