We are a performance marketing agency managing large advertising budgets for several direct-response brands. We specialize in a results-driven approach. We craft online campaigns that drive sales and deliver measurable results for our clients.

The agency spun out of a recently acquired DTC brand. Previously, we exited a digital marketing platform that was acquired by one of the largest banks in the world.

Job Description:

As the Director of Marketing Design, you will lead our creative efforts, overseeing a team of designers and shaping the visual strategies for high-performing direct-response campaigns. You’ll guide the creation of scroll-stopping visuals for Facebook Ads, assemble landing pages, and ensure all creative assets align with performance marketing goals. Your role is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring the team produces exceptional work that drives measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and performance-driven design.

Creative Strategy:

Develop visual strategies for ad creatives, landing pages, and campaigns that maximize conversions and meet client goals.

Ad Creation Oversight:

Oversee the production of eye-catching ad visuals and video ads, providing feedback to ensure high-quality output.

Landing Page Design:

Ensure landing pages are optimized for conversions, blending visual creativity with user experience best practices.

Performance Analysis:

Monitor creative performance metrics, guide the team in iterating designs, and optimize assets for better outcomes.

Collaboration:

Work closely with copywriters, media buyers, and account managers to ensure all creative aligns with broader campaign strategies.

Innovation:

Stay on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices to introduce cutting-edge techniques into the creative process.

Requirements - Must-Haves

  • Experience: 5+ years in digital design for direct-response marketing, with at least 2 years managing a creative team.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and manage a team of designers, fostering both collaboration and high performance.
  • Design Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and other design tools, with a strong portfolio of high-performing ad content.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to conceptualize creative strategies that align with client goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Metrics-Driven Approach: Strong understanding of performance metrics and how they guide creative decisions.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements - Nice-to-Haves

  • CRO Knowledge: Deep understanding of how design elements impact landing page conversion rates.
  • AI and Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like MidJourney, Opus, or other AI-enhanced design platforms.
  • Performance Marketing Experience: Knowledge of ad platforms like Facebook Ads Manager and landing page tools like Unbounce.
