Director of Product Design

Lattice is looking for a Director of Product Design to lead an impactful, growth-oriented team of Designers as we cement our position as a category leader. You will be responsible for owning the design strategy for our team that’s responsible for Lattice’s entire Talent suite — helping us deliver connected, cohesive, and coherent experiences. Some of the sub-teams and work-streams focus on a whole host of products, from Performance Reviews to Engagement surveys to Compensation tooling and Manager experiences.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will help us reimagine the experience of enterprise software and build valuable experiences that enable thousands of companies, including ours, to engage, retain and develop their employees. As a manager

• Responsible for helping to evolve the Product Design team, its culture, and its operations
• Support, coach, and help grow the team’s members into the next generation of design leadership at Lattice

​

As a design leader

• Partner with Research, Data Science, Engineering, and Customer Experience to establish a multi-year vision and strategy
• Set new levels of excellence for craft and execution, and chart a course for your team to get there

​

As a senior member of EPD

• Partner with leadership across the organization to ensure platform development on common primitives

​

Who you are

You have 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Design, including 4+ years experience managing Designers, as well as:

Requirements

• A very high craft bar, with a portfolio to prove it
• Experience going deep on multiple complex product areas at once
• The ability to give design feedback even when you do not have deep product knowledge
• Examples of taking accountability for all products and design work you oversee
