Your Career

We are looking for an experienced product design leader to lead our product design group for Cortex XSIAM and the Cortex Platform. The position is in our Palo Alto Networks R&D Center in Tel-Aviv.

The group is responsible for designing delighting end-to-end experiences for Cortex XSIAM - our premier offering in Cortex, and in addition, the group leads the design of core elements of the Cortex Platform - the platform that serves our entire Cortex product portfolio (XDR, XSOAR, Xpanse, and XSIAM).

In this role, you will be leading talented senior product designers to solve complex user experience challenges with creative, streamlined flows and amazing aesthetics. As part of your position, you and your team will be expected to lead the entire design lifecycle to create pixel-perfect designs. As the subject matter expert for design in the group, you will be responsible for the product design vision, and will need to collaborate cross functionally intensively across product management, engineering and other stakeholders to create clarity and alignment.

This is a management role, but we are not only looking for a manager. Our ideal candidate is also an exceptional designer who will be able to lead the group through example, and has the ability to roll up their sleeves and execute independently when needed.

Your Impact

  • Own the entire lifecycle of product design for Cortex XSIAM and the Cortex Platform to create delighting user experiences
  • Lead and grow a large group of talented product designers
  • Lead the product design vision for Cortex XSIAM and the Cortex Platform
  • Own expanding our on-going Cortex Design System
  • Work with team members to turn UX concepts into well designed flows
  • Work collaboratively with engineering teams, providing guidance as your designs get built

Your Experience

  • At least 6 years in leading highly performing product design teams.
  • At least 10 years of delivering exceptional UX / Product design for complex web applications (please attach a link to your online portfolio)
  • Extensive experience in designing complex B2B products - cybersecurity a big plus
  • You are a designer by heart - you appreciate good design and have a tendency to design everything around you
  • Passionate about making complex systems simple
  • Ability to execute in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-managing, self-correcting, and autodidact
  • Team player with simple, direct and positive communication
