About the role
As our founding designer, you'll collaborate with engineers to deeply understand workflows, research pain points, and design intuitive solutions to transform how products are designed. This role goes beyond visual design - you'll help in shaping Figr's upcoming design tools and determine which problems to solve first. If you're excited to define the future of design, this role is for you.
As a key design hire, you will:
- Work with our Data Science and ML team to shape up the generative UI technology
- Conduct user research to deeply understand designers' needs
- Create gorgeous, pixel-perfect interfaces and experiences
- Design animated interactions that delight users
- Collaborate closely with engineers to implement new features and products
We’re excited to work with someone who:
- Has 2-5 years of experience in designing and shipping digital products
- Has startup experience or has gone through 0 to 1 journey
- Excels at UI/UX and visual design with a portfolio to prove it
- Is excited by the challenge of building a design platform from scratch
- Has a background in graphic design and animation
- Is comfortable with fast-paced environments of a scaling startup
