The Role

We are seeking a talented, creative, and driven Senior Designer to join our growing team. As a Senior Designer you will be an integral part of our team and tasked with continuing to push creative excellence for our company and our clients. You will have the opportunity to truly be involved, working with a diverse range of clients from various industries, bringing your ideas, strategic thinking, and creative execution skills to deliver stand-out projects and brand experiences that shape culture. In this role, you'll be able to grow, develop your skills, and stretch your thinking into areas such as global sports, technology, film and television, and more for stand-out clients. Role Overview

As Senior Designer, you would play a key creative role within our company, being responsible for taking the lead on design projects, working with and mentoring junior designers, and delivering outstanding work that aligns with our client’s goals and our objectives as an agency. This position requires a deep understanding of branding, visual design, and creative strategy, along with the ability to execute and oversee design projects from concept to completion.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with left-field ideas and delivering projects at scale. We like to do things a little differently and are excited by creative ideas that are bold, fresh, and disruptive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Leadership:
    • Lead the conceptualization and execution of branding projects, including logos, visual identities, brand guidelines, packaging, and digital design.
    • Work closely with the Creative Director to develop and implement creative strategies that align with client objectives.
    • Provide creative direction and guidance to junior designers, ensuring that all work meets the agency’s high standards.

  • Collaboration:
    • Engage with clients to understand their brand vision, goals, and challenges, translating these into compelling design solutions.
    • Present creative concepts and design work to clients, articulating the rationale behind design choices and incorporating client feedback effectively.
    • Working seamlessly and collaboratively as part of our internal team with project managers, strategists, and external parties.

  • Project Management:
    • Confidence and experience in owning creative projects and seeing them through from concept through to delivery.
    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budgets.
    • Comfortable at selling in ideas and underpinning great design with well-thought-through concepts.

  • Design Excellence:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our design work remains cutting-edge and competitive.
    • Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs, maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.
    • Acting as a creative spark on each project, inspiring the team around you and clients.

  • Mentorship and Development:
    • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive creative environment.
    • Contribute to the professional development of the design team by sharing knowledge, skills, and best practices.

What you’ll need

  • A passion for brands, design, and creativity
  • Creative excellence
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of professional design experience, preferably in a branding agency or related field
  • Proven experience leading design projects from concept to completion, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of branding work
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • An ability to build strong working relationships, internally and externally
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently with clients and team members at all levels
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Proven ability to adopt a self-motivated, problem-solving approach to work
  • Expert at Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Comfortable with emerging tools and technologies (e.g. Midjourney) is a plus but not a requirement
