Pentagram Senior Graphic Designer Position

Pentagram is seeking a creative senior Graphic Designer to join Luke Powell and Jody Hudson-Powell’s team at our London Office. Our team works across a variety of sectors with companies at all stages of growth, primarily on brand design. 

​

Team Composition

Our clients include tech, AI, gaming, finance, entertainment, culture, and fashion industries. This position plays a key role in the success of our work. Our current core team comprises:

• Two creative directors
• Two project managers
• One team assistant
• Four designers
• One digital designer
• Two 3D / motion designers

Focus Areas

We are an ideas-led, design team with an interest in using craft and technology to enhance the brands we work with. This involves bringing a client’s offerings to life across traditional mediums such as print, packaging, and physical spaces, as well as through immersive experiences and creative technologies.

Collaboration and Independence

We are a collaborative team, and this role is ideal for someone who has a multi-disciplinary approach. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and thrive working independently. 

​

Portfolio Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to independently initiate, follow strategic and creative direction. Your portfolio should showcase branding projects that begin with a strategic approach and translate into creative concepts.

Contract Details

• Permanent contract with a six months probation from start date
• Competitive salary

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects from initial creative concept through to final implementation
• Oversight of digital and print production
• Contribute to building and growing the team internally
• Supporting and mentoring junior and mid-weight designers
• Thinking holistically about the creative solutions
• Identifying opportunities to collaborate with external partners
• Engaging and building strong client relationships

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Figma
• Strong design and typographic sensibility
• Ability to independently initiate, plan, and execute projects
• Strong interpersonal skills with good presentation abilities
• Ability to think about how concepts and designs can work in motion
• Experience being the lead designer on work streams
