Senior Product Designer, Commerce

Product Designer Position

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing design team. Our focus is to create world-class experiences for our customers. We pride ourselves in rethinking established paradigms and bringing creative solutions into existence in the commerce space.

Responsibilities

• Take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production
• Vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, and implementing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Designer
• Passion for turning complex problems into simple solutions
• Understanding of end-to-end design process
• Ability to apply customer insights and metrics for design decisions
• Collaborative, ability to connect with cross-functional stakeholders

Additional Criteria

• Experience in designing for merchant and developer platforms
• Passion for solving technical problems and enhancing payment tools
• Experience in mentoring other designers and providing feedback
• Familiarity with creating interactive prototypes and customer journey mapping

Pay and Benefits

​

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

​

Zone Designations:

• Zone A: USD $189,000 - USD $283,600
• Zone B: USD $179,600 - USD $269,400
• Zone C: USD $170,100 - USD $255,100
• Zone D: USD $160,700 - USD $241,100
