What We Do
Our work on Core Product focuses on the foundations of the Discord experience - ranging from how users showcase and customize their identity to the way they express themselves over text, voice, and video. We are dedicated to enhancing the experience for friend groups and servers - whether chatting with a small group, engaging with a rich server community, or streaming and playing games.
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll be involved with the full end-to-end product development process, from brainstorming to launch. You'll use a balance of strategic thinking, product principles, systems design, and strong visual design skills to iterate and innovate on the Discord product. Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Research + Insights, and Data Scientists
- Craft intuitive and delightful experiences
- Combine deep user empathy with UX, UI, prototyping, and visual design skills
- Collaborate with a strong team of designers
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience designing and shipping a web/app product
- Design lead experience
- Proven track record of leading design initiatives
- Strong collaborative skills
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Mastery of design craft
- Expert-level experience with Figma

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000 to $185,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity or benefits.
