Senior Product Designer Position at Lightspeed

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team responsible for designing web and mobile B2B experiences which help streamline complex processes. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about helping restaurants be successful in running their businesses.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience.
  • A design-thinking education (Bachelor of Design, or Visual Arts, or Architecture, or Industrial Design, or Communication)
  • Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills to help elevate the visual identity of our brand.
  • Excellent communication and visualization skills. You can bring internal stakeholders on your design journey and explain work with focus and brevity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly.
  • Understand how to best use the current design system to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing.

Additional Requirements

  • Fluency in use of design systems, prototyping, and user research methodologies.
  • English language fluency in written and spoken communication. Spoken German skills are a plus, though not essential.
  • Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Maze, Google Suite, JIRA.
