We're looking for someone to transform this discovery process. Your mission will be to create products that allow users to discover new restaurants based on community suggestions within the DoorDash app.

Your mission will be to create products that allow users to discover new restaurants based on community suggestions within the DoorDash app.
This position is open for candidates in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York and will be part of the Shop Experience team. We anticipate that this role will have a hybrid work model, with a mix of in-office and remote work.

- You have 5+ years of work experience and a portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale. You have experience leading new initiatives and achieving success in a team environment.
- You see yourself as a 0-1 designer who specializes in validating market fit for brand-new products. You can propose creative concepts and seamlessly transition to alternative plans.
- You excel at storytelling and be able to convey complex topics clearly and thoroughly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.
