The ideal candidate will be well-versed with handloom weaving process & techniques (drafting, lifting & denting plan) and possess in-depth knowledge of yarns, dyes, and fabric applications relevant to both the furnishing and fashion industries. If you have a willingness to experiment and a deep interest in exploring the textile world, and strong multitasking and management skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Developing designs for woven fabrics, prints & embroidery.
• Developing designs for the sampling process. You will be subjected to create unique samples, experimenting with yarns, embroidery techniques.
• Producing sketches and digital representation of the sample design.
• Working closely with the artisans. Guiding & monitoring the process.
• Overseeing product development & conduct quality checks.
• Well versed with latest weave & design softwares.
• Creating mood board at the start of every project & maintaining it throughout.
• Stay up-to-date with the market, color trends & the forecast.
• Research & innovating design ideas.
• Finding the new clients & preparing pitch decks.
• 3D/2D representation of the final product for showcasing it to the client.
• If required travelling to client & work unit locations.
• Identify & recruit new artisans.
