UIUX Designer Needed for a Project

Fictional Book Club

Fictional Book Club is a book of the month club which was started to help its members structure their readings, and to make reading more accessible. We’re looking to develop a book club library app, where in we can lend books to our members. We’re looking for a UI/UX designer who would be able to take this project up independently, and interview, research, question, and identify members and design the app for us.

UI/UX Designer Intern/Freelancer

Project: 

Library / Book Lending / Community Web & Mob App

​

Period: 

1 to 3 months

​

Location: 

Remote (Gurgaon/Delhi NCR preferred for physical interviews, otherwise virtual)

Qualifications: 

1 to 3 years of work experience would be preferable, not mandatory. Selection will be made on the project fee, timeline, work portfolio and interview.

Stipend/Project Budget: 

10-30K per month, along with Certificate of Completion, Letter of Recommendation. (A book of your choice if we’re really happy with the outcome of project.)

Project Deliverables: 

User Flow, Mob App & Web App Screens /Interfaces/Interactions/Experiences

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

While you’ll be defining your own tasks, and responsibilities, and you’ll be the leading this project single handedly, below are just some tasks off the internet:

• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of the UI/UX designs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and analyze user needs and create an optimal user experience.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback. Conduct usability testing to ensure all designs meet user needs.
• Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the user experience.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all digital platforms. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
