Houdini Designer
Job Opportunity: Experienced Houdini Designer
We’re looking for an experienced Houdini designer to join our team in London. Working with clients like Channel 4, Coca-Cola, Google, IBM and Ralph Lauren, we’re looking for someone who will drive R&D, offer creative and efficient solutions to technical problems and evolve the quality of the studio's output.
Role Requirements
The Houdini focus of this role means we need someone with experience integrating it into studio workflows, around areas like photorealism and fluid simulations. We also need to see a portfolio demonstrating how it has elevated projects and results. We are looking for someone who brings energy, technical expertise and problem-solving acumen. Meticulous attention to detail, both creatively and technically, is also crucial.
Responsibilities
- Part of the wider design team
- Comfortable working alone at times
- Happy taking direction and respecting project briefs
- Bringing an edge of your own to the work
- R&D as a core part of the practice
Tech Skills
Creatively and technically, we're constantly looking to understand what's next for a tool like Houdini, so we need someone with a curious mind. From a technical point of view, we expect an excellent technical and creative knowledge of Houdini and Redshift, alongside Cinema4D Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace applications. Working knowledge of Unreal Engine is a big plus, too.
Office Requirements
This full-time role requires you to be in our London office three days a week minimum (every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).
