The Role

Lead Product Designers help define, design, and deliver seamless product experiences within a product area at Xero. 

​

What you'll do:

• Promote collaborative design opportunities between designers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends within the product and design industries
• Work closely with designers in your portfolio to mentor, build capability, and ensure quality
• Partner with Product Design Director(s) to lead projects and mentor designers
• Collaborate with designers across other product areas to understand connections and opportunities
• Produce and share prototypes and concepts showing how a user will experience the solution
• Scale and evolve solutions to critical customer problems across multiple teams
• Conduct desk research including competitor analysis, interaction/design trends, and examples
• Develop phased design solutions that bridge the gap between current patterns and future state
