The Role
Lead Product Designers help define, design, and deliver seamless product experiences within a product area at Xero.
What you'll do:
- Promote collaborative design opportunities between designers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends within the product and design industries
- Work closely with designers in your portfolio to mentor, build capability, and ensure quality
- Partner with Product Design Director(s) to lead projects and mentor designers
- Collaborate with designers across other product areas to understand connections and opportunities
- Produce and share prototypes and concepts showing how a user will experience the solution
- Scale and evolve solutions to critical customer problems across multiple teams
- Conduct desk research including competitor analysis, interaction/design trends, and examples
- Develop phased design solutions that bridge the gap between current patterns and future state
